EpiCamera Surveillance Monitors FingerTec Headquarters

FingerTec has long been vocal on the importance of a reliable surveillance and security system. As cloud storage becomes the trend in the technological world, so has FingerTec taken the step to progress with EpiCamera, a surveillance system based on Video Surveillance as a Service (VSAAS) that stores data in EpiCamera Cloud Storage System.

FingerTec Headquarters has more than 50 employees working in various departments. Aside from being the main office for the company, the building is also a storage facility for some of FingerTec’s products with frequent visitors, ranging from resellers and clients, coming in and going out. The need for the best surveillance system is obvious and EpiCamera is the solution. Unlike other businesses that avoid using their own products, FingerTec decided to integrate EpiCamera into its already established system and the results are spectacular.

Installation of cameras to the new system proved easy as EpiCamera delivers a concise and user-friendly interface. The My Camera module allows FingerTec to add multiple cameras both inside and outside the facility as part of the system. EpiCamera’s compatibility with cameras with FTP features made purchasing of new equipments unnecessary even though the cameras at FingerTec Headquarters are of different models and come from different manufacturers.

The Add Camera icon provides various configurations such as camera information, data destination, and choosing the capture type. The Live View module allows single, quad and multi view where the camera feed is displayed either in single frame or in grids. Each view will display the camera name, date and time of the feed.

The statistical and graphical reports allow FingerTec to evaluate the cameras’ technical efficiency and the overall surveillance system. The number of image-captured statistics provides information on the amount of activity around the area of a specific camera. This helps to indicate the amount of traffic at the area for each hour within a 12-hour time frame. Should there be any camera feed loss, the downtime graph will display the camera and the hour the loss occurred.

Like FingerTec, users will benefit greatly from what EpiCamera has to offer in terms of cost effectiveness, reliability and adaptability. EpiCamera is the next step in surveillance by focusing on compatibility and mobility. The personal approach to using EpiCamera will make business and home users feel more in control of their own security.
